where Masonry Screws are used

Battens, Track & General Fixings
The classic blue slotted hex head masonry screw fixes timber battens, trunking, track and general components straight into concrete and masonry — drill the pilot hole, drive the screw home, done. Because the fixing doesn't rely on expansion, it can be used closer to edges and closer together than plug-and-screw or expansion anchors, and it can be removed and even re-used. Available un-washered, with a 16mm washer, and in a heavy duty 8.0mm range up to 350mm.

Frames, Windows & Flush Finishes
Countersunk versions give a flush finish where a hex head would stand proud — Phillips-drive EvoShield® 500HR countersunk masonry screws in 4.8mm and 6.3mm, and Torx-drive self-tapping framing screws with a 1,000-hour coating for fixing wood, metal and PVCu frames to masonry in lengths up to 302mm.

Coastal & Corrosive Environments
A4 grade Bi-metal™ masonry screws combine a 316 stainless body with a hardened carbon steel gash point, so they tap into masonry like a carbon steel screw but resist corrosion like stainless. Available in hex head and Torx countersunk styles, in 6.3mm and heavy duty 8.0mm diameters up to 350mm — the specification-grade choice for coastal, swimming pool and chemically aggressive environments.

Ceilings, Soffits & Services
Concrete insulation screws with a UV-stabilised 25mm nylon head fix insulation systems direct to concrete ceilings and soffits. For overhead services, all-steel ceiling anchors are fire tested to EN1364-1 for use where regulations require all-steel overhead fixings, alongside wirehangers for suspended ceiling cabling and ZAMAK® nail-in anchors for brackets and clips.
