Fine thread bugle head screws are the standard for fixing plasterboard to light gauge steel track — the fine thread bites cleanly into thin metal, and the bugle head sets flush without tearing the paper face. Available in black phosphate or zinc from 25mm to 170mm. For heavier gauge steel track that a sharp point won't pierce, step up to the self-drilling drywall screws.

Coarse thread bugle head screws are the timber-side counterpart — the deeper, wider thread gives maximum pull-out in softwood studs and joists. Black phosphate finish, in sizes from 3.5 × 25mm up to 4.8 × 170mm for multi-layer boarding.

Every mainline drywall screw is available collated for autofeed screw guns — coarse thread, fine thread in phosphate or zinc, self-drilling, undercutting and tough board versions. Collated strips keep large boarding contracts moving with consistent depth-setting and far less screw handling.

Wafer and pan head self-drilling screws join the metal frame itself — stud to track, connections and accessories — with a low-profile head that boards can pass over cleanly, in lengths from 12mm to 50mm.
